• Departmental profile

The Department of Veterinary Biochemistry was created on 17.10.2000 from the Department of Veterinary Physiology & Biochemistry. At present this department is catering U.G. course (VCI syllabus), P.G. courses and Ph. D. courses (ICAR syllabus). Department conducts one month summer training of B. Tech. Biotechnology students of different colleges of West Bengal University of Technology and other universities on Immuno-biochemical Techniques and animal biotechnology. Routine Biochemical and Haematological Test of Clinical Samples is performed everyday on payment basis.
