     Avian Sciences Department under faculty of Veterinary and Animal Sciences was established in the year 2019 under West Bengal university of Animal and Fishery Sciences to provide post-graduate education, research, training, and technology transfer initiatives to help the poultry industry increase productivity, production, and profitability. Through the development of cutting-edge technologies that target specific industry challenges and in accordance with the changing needs of the domestic poultry sector, the department remains sensitive and vigilant to the ever-changing needs of the poultry sector.
