Departmental profile
This department has emerged as a new department in the year 2000 after trifurcating the Department of Veterinary Medicine and Public Health. Presently this department caters the teaching of under graduate post graduate and Ph.D. level as well as actively engaged in different research programmes. Besides this department also extends the regular service for treatment of different species of animals in Clinics both at Belgachia and Mohanpur campus under the Department of Teaching Veterinary Clinical Complex.
